1. Seller and scope
These terms apply to the digital guides offered by Nicole Wieland, trading as Dream Life Greece, Schäferstr. 52, 71642 Ludwigsburg, Germany (email: info@dreamlifegreece.com). This shop sells digital guides only – no physical goods are offered or shipped.
2. Ordering and checkout via Gumroad
Checkout, payment processing, tax calculation, receipts and digital delivery are handled through our sales partner Gumroad. By completing a purchase you are redirected to Gumroad's checkout, and Gumroad's checkout terms apply to the transaction. Product descriptions and prices are shown on this storefront; the final, binding total – including any applicable taxes – is displayed at the Gumroad checkout before you confirm your order.
3. Licence and permitted use
Unless stated otherwise, your purchase grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the guide for your own private purposes, such as planning your travels or cooking at home. You may not resell, redistribute, publicly share, or otherwise make the content or your access to it available to third parties, whether commercially or free of charge. All content and branding remain the intellectual property of Dream Life Greece.
4. Delivery
All products are delivered digitally through Gumroad, typically immediately after your purchase is completed. If you do not receive your download, please check your spam folder and the Gumroad receipt email, or contact us (section 10).
5. Voluntary 60-day refund promise
We want you to be happy with your guide. You may request a full refund within 60 calendar days of your purchase date, either by emailing info@dreamlifegreece.com or via the support options in your Gumroad receipt. This voluntary refund promise does not restrict any statutory consumer rights you may have.
6. Statutory right of withdrawal for digital content
Consumers generally have a statutory right of withdrawal for distance contracts. For digital content that is supplied immediately, this right may expire before the withdrawal period ends – but only if you expressly agree that performance begins before the end of the withdrawal period, acknowledge that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal, and receive the required confirmation of this on a durable medium. The mere completion of a purchase does not by itself extinguish your withdrawal right.
7. Accuracy of recommendations
Our travel and food guides are researched with care, but places, prices, opening hours, menus and local conditions can change at short notice. Recommendations are provided for informational purposes; please verify important details before you travel.
8. Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and under mandatory statutory provisions such as the German Product Liability Act. In cases of slight negligence, we are liable only for the breach of essential contractual obligations (cardinal duties), limited to the foreseeable, typically occurring damage. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability where such limitation or exclusion is not permitted by law, and nothing affects your mandatory consumer rights.
9. Governing law
German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, this choice of law applies only insofar as it does not deprive you of the mandatory protections of the law of the country in which you have your habitual residence.
